Thirteen years working as a therapist, supervisor, clinical director in a Tri-county Mental Health & Substance Abuse Center Eleven years working in Adolescent Residential Facilities as a therapist and Clinical Director. Totally 24 years of experience as a therapist.

Interest and Expertise:
Abuse, adoption, trauma, substance abuse, mental health issues, self esteem

Hobbies and Interests:
I enjoy reading, cooking, genealogy, and continual learning. I am an adoptive mother of four. I love being a grandmother to four awesome grandsons. I enjoy teaching others and being involved in my church.

Which set of skills that students experience at Red Rock greatly impacts their success?:
The students are exposed to so many great activities and are allowed to try them with out fear of failing. They are allowed to catch up on academics as well as learning how to be proactive and positive. They have the support of the the whole Red Rock community. That positive support allows them to build their self concept that they can then go and conquer the world at home.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working with youth?:
Watching the light turn on and their confidence grow. Seeing them develop gratitude and appreciation for what the parents and others have done. Knowing that they are on their way to be the individual they and the parents always wanted to them be. Seeing their excitement in their success .
