Tasha Pace, RN

Registered Nurse – Psychiatric

Credentials:  Registered Nurse

Graduate of:  Weber State University

Service at Red Rock:  Since November 2009

Prior Professional Experience:  I worked with youth in a therapeutic wilderness program for eight years in the back country of Montana and Utah.  It was rewarding to see the youth make positive changes in their lives through their experience in the natural environment.   I worked for three years at a rural community health center assisting doctors with emergencies and procedures, operated all lab equipment and was also an x-ray technician.  I worked for four years as a home-health and hospice nurse.  I have enjoyed the variety of nursing experience I have obtained serving these populations.

Interests and Hobbies:  I enjoy hiking, traveling, camping, boating, being outdoors, any form of exercise, reading, cooking, practicing the piano or violin and spending time with my family.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working with the youth:  Seeing them make positive changes in their lives and gaining self esteem, confidence and a belief in themselves.  Then reaching outside of themselves to help and serve others around them.
